🍼 Baby Feeding Tracker — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes what data the Baby Feeding Tracker app collects, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Who we are

Baby Feeding Tracker is an independent app developed by David Gormez. You can contact us via the Google Play developer profile or at dgormez+babytracker@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only data that you enter directly in the app:

• Babies — name and chosen avatar emoji.
• Feeding entries — timestamp, volume in ml, caregiver name, optional notes.
• Medicine entries — timestamp, medicine name, caregiver name, optional notes.
• Elimination entries — timestamp, type (pipi / caca / both), caregiver name, optional notes.
• Temperature entries — timestamp, temperature in °C, caregiver name, optional notes.
• Sleep entries — start time, optional end time, caregiver name, optional notes.
• Weight entries — timestamp, weight in kg, caregiver name, optional notes.

We do not collect device identifiers, location data, contact lists, photos, or any other information not listed above. We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics.

3. How we identify households

There are no user accounts or passwords. Each household is identified by a randomly-generated UUID (122-bit entropy) that you share with your partner. The UUID is stored locally on your device and on our server.

4. Where data is stored

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (EU region, aws-eu-west-1) and served via Microsoft Azure App Service (EU). A local cache is kept in SQLite on your device for offline use.

5. Who can access your data

Only people who know your household UUID can read or write data. The developer does not read individual household data. Supabase and Azure process data as sub-processors under their respective data processing agreements (DPAs).

6. Data retention

Data is retained for as long as you use the app. You can delete it at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your rights (GDPR Article 17 — Right to erasure)

You can permanently delete your data at any time from within the app:

• Settings → Data deletion → Delete my entries — removes all entries added under your caregiver name.
• Settings → Data deletion → Delete all household data — removes every entry and every baby profile for your household.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You may also contact us at dgormez+babytracker@gmail.com to request erasure manually.

8. Data portability (GDPR Article 20)

You can export all your data at any time via Settings → Export data → CSV or PDF.

9. Children's data

This app is designed to log care data about infants. The app itself is operated by adults (caregivers). We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted in the app update release notes. The current version is always available at https://babyfeeding-api.azurewebsites.net/privacy .
